Artificial Intelligence Adoption and Its Impact on Generation Z Work Productivity in the Digital Transformation Era

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of Artificial Intelligence (AI) adoption on the work productivity of Generation Z within the context of organizational digital transformation. A quantitative approach with an explanatory research design was employed, utilizing a survey method targeting Generation Z workers who have utilized AI technology in their work activities. Data were collected via questionnaires and analyzed using statistical techniques to examine the relationship between AI adoption and work productivity. The results indicate that AI adoption has a positive influence on the work productivity of Generation Z. The utilization of AI technology enables employees to complete tasks more quickly, enhances work accuracy, and supports data-driven decision-making processes. These findings suggest that integrating AI technology into organizational work systems can boost efficiency and individual performance, particularly for a workforce with high digital literacy, such as Generation Z. The study implies that organizations need to optimize the implementation of AI technology and provide digital skills training to employees to maximize the technology's benefits. The novelty of this research lies in its empirical analysis of the relationship between AI adoption and work productivity, specifically focusing on the Generation Z workforce within the context of digital transformation.
